How Do Leaders Become Inspirational Speakers
Leaders in my view are not born to be inspirational speaker; one can’t say they are made either. But, rather a process of experienced transformations that creates a particular consciousness. A consciousness that has a social connection with a philosophical based that in essence, forms a deep rooted opinion. Most inspirational speakers that hold leadership positions have numerous causes that drive them toward a particular vision which they themselves aspire.
President Ronald Reagan for example held firm with his philosophy of holding the Soviet Union true to peace in the world. In his view he felt that democracy and freedom was the political world system that best described an economic environment of progress. Having met President Reagan three times in my lifetime I can personally attest to his delivery of his speeches. He was inspiring, motivating left one feeling a great sense of security and progress. He without a doubt a great communicator and communicated his message often. President Reagan was ahead of his time and to a large extent we continue to enjoy many of the fruits of his administration. We are speaking of a man who brought the cold war to an end without firing a bullet. The eight years of his administration brought progress technologically, economically, militarily and an American way of life a certain sense of security.
Leaders Value their theories they are convinced based on their research and/or their cause that order for people be lead they much convey a powerful message. They must be able to motivate other; they must be able to interact with a mindset inclusive of foresight. It is gut wrenching, it is heartfelt is has meaning to the very core of unbelievable proportion.
We obliviously all can’t be like Presidents or like a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. but, if one can be convinced about a certain cause and have a true sincere belief about a product, or a certain direction of a social political view then a strong sense of direction is formed. Be clear about your message and your subject matter. Understand thoroughly your subject and know your audience. Understand as much as possible the thinking of your audience and hold true to your personal philosophy as people will always respect your commitment to a cause – whatever it is.
As you continue to develop yourself and seek to convey your message which will have the implications of progress that will have an impact on your audience and or your clients then be prepared to be a learner as the learning process for such a skills is a journey of longevity skill development.

Where Did President Ronald Reagan Go to College?
Ask anybody: “Who are the great men in human history?” Likely you will hear names such as Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Napoleon, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, or perhaps even Ronald Reagan. What do these men have in common? What made them great? They were successful because they were powerful, and with this power they changed the course of history by their heroic actions, or by ruling countries or even whole continents. Ronald Reagan was born in 1911. I have said before I am not a Republican nor a Reagan fan, but it is significant history for northern Illinois and needs to be talked about. Today we see the Ronald Reagan Birthplace building. He was born in the second floor apartment of a commercial building in downtown Tampico, Illinois. Where did president Ronald Reagan go to college ? The Reagan’s lived in the second floor apartment. For a case of pareidolia, notice the apparition in the window, who could that be? From 1915-1919 the structure housed a bakery and from 1919-1931 a bank, First National Bank. Today the first and second floor have been restored. The first floor is a spot-on recreation of a 1920s bank that incorporates original elements from the building’s stint as a bank, such as the vault. The second floor is done as a period apartment from the era when the Reagan’s occupied the space. Interestingly, the apartment features a skylight in the center of its main room and is decorated to the period when the Reagans lived there, although none of the original Reagan furnishings are there. he building is very similar to the other structures in the Main Street Historic District. It is two stories with three upper floor, flat-headed windows. The Graham Building also has a metal cornice which closely matches the cornice lines of the adjacent structures, contributing to the overall architectural harmony of the historic district. When I went it was July, 105 degrees, and the woman inside, a volunteer, seemed truly glad to see me. In fact she chased me down on the hot street. Initially, when I tugged at the door, I couldn’t get it to open, I think she thought I was inept but it really wouldn’t open. But she came outside to get me, eventually she gave me a free tour of the bank, the apartment and told me numerous tales about the Reagan family. Even recalling when Ronald Reagan actually visited the birthplace during the 1980s or 1990s or some such. It was very interesting and for her kindness I bought a magnet and donated five dollars to the museum. As president, Reagan implemented bold new political and economic initiatives. His supply-side economic policies, dubbed “Reaganomics,” included deregulation and substantial tax cuts implemented in 1981. In his first term he survived an assassination attempt, took a hard line against organized labor, and ordered military actions in Grenada. He was reelected in a landslide in 1984. Reagan’s second term was primarily marked by foreign matters, namely the ending of the Cold War, the bombing of Libya, and the revelation of the Iran-Contra affair. The president had previously ordered a massive military buildup in an arms race with the Soviet Union, forgoing the strategy of détente. He publicly described the USSR as an “evil empire” and supported anti-Communist movements worldwide. He negotiated with Soviet General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev, resulting in the INF Treaty and the decrease of both countries’ nuclear arsenals. Reagan left office in 1989; in 1994 the former president disclosed that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease earlier in the year and died ten years later at the age of ninety-three. He ranks highly among former U.S. presidents in terms of approval rating.

United We Stand
Almost everyone has heard the phrase or principle that a “house divided will fall”. The problem is not everyone agrees with it and some could care less if the house (name it) does fall. Barack Obama though has the opportunity that no president I know of since John F. Kennedy (yes that also includes Ronald Reagan) to UNITE our nation and even beyond our borders, the world. <!–more–>
<!–adsense#articles–>
I said more than a year ago that Obama has the opportunity to bring racial reconciliation to our nation (not that he solves all problems!) and healing internationally (by virtue of his name if nothing else). Don’t hear that I am saying that he will, but that we have a WINDOW- an opportunity in spite of those who spread divisiveness, discord, and outright antagonisms as their daily menu.
Can you say Hannity & Rush?
“He’s a man of the people,” said Vicki Starcher, who traveled from Norfolk, Virginia, to help set up the temporary store during the inauguration. “I think the difference is with Obama, he has so much of the younger backing, BET … and the hip-hop community,” co-worker Jasmine Robinson chimed in. Ebony said Obama was one of the Top 25 Coolest Brothers of All Time, alongside Tupac Shakur, Muhammad Ali, Jay-Z and Marvin Gaye. I’m not cool with all of those comparisons, but whatever!
Two days from the White House, President-elect Barack Obama joined a vast throng Sunday at a joyous pre-inauguration celebration staged among marble monuments to past heroes. “Anything is possible in America,” declared the man who will confront economic crisis and two wars when he takes office. Anything is possible!
And within “anything” is a UNITED nation- for however long it lasts, we’ll take it. At least I will.

Cheney wanted Scooter Libby pardoned: Conservative perspective on this?
I want to know if any conservatives agree with Dick Cheney and why.

Note: I will not criticize your politics.
The prison sentence was excessive, but he did not deserve to have his "good" name back. Bush made the right call by commuting and not pardoning.

What Every Employer Really Wants
While different employers have vastly different needs in functional areas, there are many employer qualities which virtually every employer wants, regardless of the job the employee will perform.
One employer needs an engineer with special training in strength of materials. Another needs a psychology major with a solid background in social work. A third is looking for a financial analyst who’s a whiz with statistics. But all three are looking for candidates who will become highly motivated, responsible employees. They want people who have drive, energy, confidence, integrity, pride and dedication. People who know how to listen, who understand the importance of turning a profit, who can follow instructions meticulously, and who know how to save time and money.
Above all they choose candidates for their enthusiasm and their strength of character. If you truly shine in both of these areas, most employers will be willing to forgive many weaknesses in background, education or experience.
Enthusiasm: An eagerness for the challenge at hand. A positive view of the world. The perception of problems as opportunities for gain and improvement. The belief that the work will be exciting and rewarding, and that the organization will certainly achieve its goals.
Strength of character: Stability. Dependability. Commitment to do what’s right. Avoidance of what’s trivial and petty. Willingness to get the job done, whatever effort is required. Concern for maintaining reputation. High standards. Leadership stature.
This isn’t a sermon. It’s simply a description of what impresses most employers.
It’s also important to note that employers are conservative. Whatever their politics and personal values, employers are rather predictably conservative when it comes to their businesses. In their heart of hearts, they really want rock-solid, squeaky clean people joining their staffs. That doesn’t mean there are no openings for off-the-wall personalities, free spirits or outspoken reformers. There are. But they’re not the easiest jobs to find, because there aren’t that many bosses willing to gamble their businesses on employees others might find offensive—or odd.
When the chips are down, most employers can be counted upon to play it safe. If you want to be a contender for the biggest portion of the best available jobs, don’t stray too far from the conservative path. Think “enthusiasm” and “strength of character” as you talk to a prospective employer, and you’ll never be very far off the mark. You want him or her to look at you and think, “That’s a person I can trust to get the job done.”
No, that doesn’t mean be a stiff. It just means be solid.

What’s the “REAL DEAL” on HGH (Human Growth Hormone) anyway?
Human Growth Hormone was first discovered in 1956 and its structure was identified in 1972. It was extracted from cadavers, sold at very high prices, and injected with needles into the body.
In mid-1998 the 191 chain Hgh molecule was genetically engineered in the laboratory. Since then all HGH is synthetically produced and HGH from cadavers is no longer in use. Synthetic HGH (Somatrophin) is available to us now in two forms. One is through a costly doctor’s pharmaceutical prescription, and secondly at a reasonable price through a homeopathic oral spray. A third therapy alternative would be Secretogogues and Stacked Amino products which contain absolutely no HGH. The idea here is to coax your own body, by stimulating the Pituitary Gland, to produce more of it’s own HGH. Unfortunately this latter therapy works for only a month or two.
It should be noted that the Federal Drug Administration does not allow any nutritional product (HGH pills) to claim that it can “cure” any disease. However, the FDA does approve Pharmaceutical drugs and Homeopathic preparations to claim they can cure a particular disease and the testing to achieve this status is quite rigorous as we all know.
So, a doctor is permitted to prescribe Human Growth Hormone to a patient for anti-aging even though it is approved by the FDA only as a cure for dwarfism. The Pharmaceutical manufacturer is not permitted to suggest it’s use as an anti-aging therapy, only as a treatment for dwarfism, and one company ended up paying substantial fines and penalties for doing just that.
The large majority of Homeopathic remedies do, with FDA approval, claim to cure various ailments. Homeopathic HGH is one of only a handful of preparations that claims to “cure” nothing. 21st Century HGH is manufactured at an FDA monitored and approved laboratory. The curious difference between pharmaceutical HGH (hgh prescription shots) and homeopathic HGH (oral spray) is that even though the former injects huge amounts of the actual hormone, compared to only a miniscule amount in the homeopathic preparation, the rejuvenation levels are remarkably similar!
Being very conservative the idea of stimulating my own body’s production of HGH through nutritional supplements sounded the most “natural” to me. However, the authoritative Physician’s Desk Reference Manual rates different forms of absorption by the body and yields eye-opening information. It says that when you swallow a pill, less than 10% of the nutrient actually gets into the blood stream. The other 90% is processed as waste by the gastrointestinal tract.
Oral absorption through the mucosa (the lining of the mouth) is the preferred choice of medical experts because the body absorbs 90% of the nutrient into the bloodstream. That’s a huge difference. What was not a big difference to us, but was still very interesting, was that oral absorption (90%) was higher than intra-muscular injection (80%).
So, piling a bunch of substances into my body in the form of stacked amino acids and secretagogues, most of which would actually pass through me, just to coax my Pituitary Gland into a little bit of action didn’t seem like a plan to me.
The Human Growth Hormone market is beset by some overzealous marketeers who sometimes make claims that are somewhat misleading, especially in the area of human growth hormone clinical studies. I’ve read through many entire websites which make claims, based on pharmaceutical HGH, that imply the same results will occur with their nutritional product. They are just “fast talking” their clientel and many have had action taken against them by the Federal Trade Commission.
If you are interested in a great rejuvenation therapy stick to either pharmaceutical injections under the care of a doctor or homeopathic oral sprays that can be purchased over-the-counter. The FDA has approved oral sprays for over the counter sales. They are generic in nature. There is only one “recipe” that works and all the companies use this recipe. Beware of companies that claim that their oral spray is more potent than the next. It’s impossible.
Good Luck and Happy Living!
